Expect prices and availability to move
In-play odds update as the match develops. A goal, card, injury, penalty or other event may cause a market to suspend while the operator updates its price. Do not assume a selection is available because it appeared moments earlier.
Check whether the slip shows a changed price and decide deliberately whether to accept it. If the market suspends, wait for it to reopen rather than repeatedly submitting.
Verify the accepted bet
After submitting, wait for a confirmation and check the bet reference, accepted odds, stake and market in bet history. If the screen freezes, inspect history before trying again; a delayed response is not proof of a failed submission.
We did not test SportPesa’s in-play acceptance speed, latency or suspension frequency. Network conditions and event activity can affect the experience.
Set boundaries before the match starts
Fast-moving markets can encourage impulsive decisions. Decide a money and time limit before starting and avoid chasing a loss or raising stakes after a near miss. Disable notifications or step away if live prompts make it harder to stop.
Live odds do not reveal certainty. A displayed multiplier or short price cannot guarantee the result.
